A DREAM come true!! SERIOUSLY

I grew up "having" to play the piano. The rule was, If you don't play the piano you don't play sports. Boy, did I dislike that rule, it was NOT fair!! Growing up I NEVER looked forward to coming home and playing the piano. I took piano lesson only because I HAD to. Looking back on it I can honestly say now that I am THANKFUL that I learned to play the piano. I LOVE it. The Christmas after we got married my mom and dad gave me a keyboard. Which I played, the only problem with it is I found myself running out of keys here and there. I looked forward to Sunday dinners at my parents house because Julie and I would get together, I would accompany and she would sing....Oh what good memories :) I have ALWAYS wanted my own piano ever since moving out and getting married. I have missed it DEARLY. I felt that I had hidden my talent and the longer I went without playing the it was slowly disappearing.....

I know that I am a recovering KSL addict. But this piano and I were DESTINED to be together! I TRULY believe that. I had seen it on KSL the day before, it had been posted for 5 hours, I LOVED it, though I feel the pictures posted in the ad did NOT do it justice. When I went to show Derek the piano it had a SOLD sign on it. My heart sank a little. So I thought Oh well, we have a little house anyways it probably wouldn't work anyways.

Well the next morning out of the blue, I just had a feeling to check KSL for pianos, lo and behold I saw the add had been reposted for 2 minutes!! I showed Derek and he encouraged me to call. So I DID!! The lady said that someone was supposed to pick it up the night before and never did, so she reposted it. Derek has known that I yearned for a piano and said, he would gladly make the drive to pick it up in LEHI!! He arranged for a trailer and went and got it for me! I still feel like I am dreaming when I think about how it all came together. The lady had told me that she just didn't use it and wanted to sell it. The asking price.......$100. NO LIE!! It is PERFECT, it is a Wurlitzer which is the brand I grew up playing on, I was pretty thrilled about that! Derek and I found out it was made in 1960....And I can honestly say I now LOOK FORWARD to coming home and playing the piano

My Dad was SO excited for me, he and Jeff came to help Derek get it in the house that night!! :) THANKS for the muscles men!

The boys were happy also! Lil H even did a Stevie Wonder impression ;) haha

Life with the boys this winter

Call me cheap, but I have resorted to HOME HAIR CUTS when it comes to all 3 of the boys haircuts, I still just use the razor on Lil H's hair AND the best part is I no longer feel like I am performing an exorcism because he just sits there and behaves!!

But when it comes to Big H getting a hair cut, I have become either crazy, or brave and have actually been cutting the top with scissors!! I figure if it doesn't turn out well, then I can just shave it off! That is one advantage I guess of cutting a boys hair! LOL

For Christmas Harrison received a gift that could make one wonder if he is a twin.......Just to clarify where I gave birth to Harrison myself, he does NOT have a twin!! But, I could see why one would wonder. They do look alike, same color of hair, big dark eyes, the ears (that's all I'll say about the ears;), heads about the same size, heck they're even the same height! haha

The question could also be raised whether or not he is related to Dopey...

This year Big H started his "basketball career" this is him before his first game! GO H!!
GAME FACE

More often than not, I will walk into the living room and see the boys just chillin' on the couch....like THIS they are so funny!

While Henry is at school, Lil H likes to just hang out in the house, usually in Dads chair like THIS

He also likes to hang out with Dad while Henry is at school

With the new year, came the new primary classes. The boys were excited to go to Primary together. That is right NO more nursery for Lil H..... this is them before church (Lil H's first day in Primary) Afterwards the Primary president told us that Harrison sat with Henry and his friends the whole time, until they parted ways with their own classes! haha

Dinner for Big H

Henry has been doing so well in school this year, and keeps bringing home gift certificates for restaurants. He brought one home in December that had to be used by the end of the month. So, we decided to go. Big H called Grandpa and told him that we were coming to Logan to go to dinner and asked if they would want to "meet up" with us at Sizzler! They said SURE!

THE TICKET, way to go BIG H!!

Lil H likes hanging out with Jeff

Big H and Jeff have ALWAYS been buds!

I LOVE Lil H's faces in these pictures....HILARIOUS
(Derek enjoyed his food! lol)

What a goober! I LOVE the face LOL
