The pennant!!!!

So I finally got Derek to load the rest of the pictures onto the computer of the game. Here they are Henry and Derek bought the pennant at a FANZZ store on their way down to the game. They were able to get 4 signatures!!!! Wesley Matthews who is a Rookie and a pretty good one too! Otheyus Jeffers who is also a Rookie. Andre Kirilenko (which is hard to see he signed with a silver marker instead of their black one) and the one that Derek and I think is the coolest.........#14 yes, Jeff Hornacek!! Well enjoy the pics :)

Henrys First Jazz Game

For the past 80 days Henry would mark off a day on his Jazz calendar that we received for Christmas. He would also let us know just how many more days there were until he was going to his first Jazz game. Well, that day finally arrived on March 17th 2010 at 3:00 pm Henry and Derek got into the truck and headed down to Salt Lake to the Energy Solutions Arena. They got there early enough to watch some of the players shoot around. And they were also lucky enough to get 4 players autographs!!!! WOW huh? I was just hoping that he would get 1 and consider that lucky but I guess that luck was on his side on St. Patricks Day :) I do not know how to upload pictures from our camera so I will post a later blog with a few more pics and of the pennant that he got the autographs on. Until then you will just have to guess which players signed. LOL Well, Henry will admit that as the game started he was a little nervous for his team he was not sure if they were going to pull it off. Would his first JAZZ game be a loss??? He said he was not sure in the 1st period when the score was 14-6 T-WOLVES but then he said when the Jazz reached 20 points they just started "blowing off" and the wolves had no chance at all. During the game Henry and Dad fed their manly and pre manly appetites and Henry got a pretzel that was bigger than his head and a water bottle that "only cost $4 that is pretty cheap." Some day he will learn that NO that is not very cheap. lol Overall he said that it was way fun, and that he cheered and yelled the whole game. The final score was 122-100. GO JAZZ. He said that he wants to go to another game sometime. He said "Mom, do you think that Santa could bring me tickets again for Christmas?" I said well, you will just have to and see. Henry than asked "Mom do you think that if I am better in 2010, than I was in 2009 Santa will bring me tickets that are closer to the players?" lol Well I guess time will tell and Santa if you read this Henry would love to go to another Jazz game again. Until next time.....

Another month...another blog :) (March)

Hello!! So apparently another month has passed. :) Well, let me reflect and think about what has happened this past month. Let's start with Henry- his Colts made it to the Super Bowl and lost :( But, he likes Drew Brees so, he was happy for him :) within the past month we registered him for soccer. He said that he has waited for 2 years to finally be able to play soccer :) He is very excited and has been counting down the days till we hear from his soccer coach:) Not sure when we will but everytime my phone rings the past week he asks if it is his coach. We purchased his soccer apparel and he wears it everyday in the house (jersey, shorts, socks up past his knees) No worries though I make him change his clothes when we go "into town" or just public in general:) He still is attending preschool, and does math and reads everyday by his own will:) We are hoping his eagerness to learn new things will continue once he starts school in the fall and "has to learn" if you know what I mean. He has had sleepovers in Logan and goes hot tubbing every time with Grandpa, remind you that it is still winter and snow is on the ground. He really enjoyed watching the Olympics and thought that it was cool when we would win a medal. He thinks it is cool that the US won more medals than any other country. And said that he can't wait 4 more years till the next winter Olympics. He is now counting down the days till Uncle Landen gets home and Uncle Jeff leaves the MTC.
Next I guess would be Lil H- he has been "complicated" to say the least. lol :) We tried nursery for the first time and as a mom I wondered what type of kid will he be in nursery. Is he going to be the one that cries the whole time so, and they will come and get me out of Sunday School every Sunday? Or the one that always has a dirty diaper? Will he be the reverent, model kid? Will he terrorize all the kids and the nursery leaders can't wait till he goes to Sunbeams? Well after spending 2 Sundays with him I have concluded........he is going to be "the kid that throws the toys" in nursery :( But, atleast he doesn't cry right??? He is almost done experiencing teething. He has 2 left on the bottom to come in, and then he will be set for a while. Thank goodness !!!! Is all I have to say, he has had quite the tude at times, but I guess ya can't blame the little guy, we just give him motrin and cross our fingers that it will help :) He continues to expand his vocabulary, to be honest I do believe that mothers are given the gift of tongues, because I can understand what he says. I call it the language of Harrison. To others it may sound like the early language of cavemen but, I feel I understand:) He loves and adores Henry and enjoys playing with him everyday.
Derek and I are just doing the same old thing:) yeah fun, fun!! Well I will now upload pictures, because that is probably all people really care about when it comes to a blog:) Until next time hopefully it won't be a month. FYI one of the pics of Harrison, I had to upload!!! He was playing with a black marker one day and ended up looking like this. LOL this picture could very well describe how he has been acting lately (while teething:) You will know which one:)
