Life with the boys this winter

Call me cheap, but I have resorted to HOME HAIR CUTS when it comes to all 3 of the boys haircuts, I still just use the razor on Lil H's hair AND the best part is I no longer feel like I am performing an exorcism because he just sits there and behaves!!

But when it comes to Big H getting a hair cut, I have become either crazy, or brave and have actually been cutting the top with scissors!! I figure if it doesn't turn out well, then I can just shave it off! That is one advantage I guess of cutting a boys hair! LOL

For Christmas Harrison received a gift that could make one wonder if he is a twin.......Just to clarify where I gave birth to Harrison myself, he does NOT have a twin!! But, I could see why one would wonder. They do look alike, same color of hair, big dark eyes, the ears (that's all I'll say about the ears;), heads about the same size, heck they're even the same height! haha

The question could also be raised whether or not he is related to Dopey...

This year Big H started his "basketball career" this is him before his first game! GO H!!
GAME FACE

More often than not, I will walk into the living room and see the boys just chillin' on the couch....like THIS they are so funny!

While Henry is at school, Lil H likes to just hang out in the house, usually in Dads chair like THIS

He also likes to hang out with Dad while Henry is at school

With the new year, came the new primary classes. The boys were excited to go to Primary together. That is right NO more nursery for Lil H..... this is them before church (Lil H's first day in Primary) Afterwards the Primary president told us that Harrison sat with Henry and his friends the whole time, until they parted ways with their own classes! haha

Dinner for Big H

Henry has been doing so well in school this year, and keeps bringing home gift certificates for restaurants. He brought one home in December that had to be used by the end of the month. So, we decided to go. Big H called Grandpa and told him that we were coming to Logan to go to dinner and asked if they would want to "meet up" with us at Sizzler! They said SURE!

THE TICKET, way to go BIG H!!

Lil H likes hanging out with Jeff

Big H and Jeff have ALWAYS been buds!

I LOVE Lil H's faces in these pictures....HILARIOUS
(Derek enjoyed his food! lol)

What a goober! I LOVE the face LOL

HAPPY EVERYTHING

CHRISTMAS 2011

This Christmas was a great one! It is always nice to watch the excitement on the boys faces as they opened their presents. I have Disney-Pixar to thank for the movie CARS 2 for without that movie this past year, Christmas shopping may have been a little harder this year. The boys must've been pretty good this year because Santa CAME! And he didn't leave any coal or reindeer droppings for the boys! In the months leading up to Christmas I think Henry wrote at least 6 different wish lists for he and Lil H! lol They were pretty excited.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

A pile of presents for Big H

POTATO BOWL-GO Aggies

Due to Jeff flying in late Friday night, we got home really late Friday night or early Saturday morning depending on how you want to look at it. We woke up around 6:30 am to get ready to make the drive to Boise, Idaho for the Famous Idaho Potato bowl. The boys were pretty stoked once they were awake enough to realize what was going to happen later that day!! So after we got our Aggie gear ready and Big H got his sign that he made in honor of the game we were on our way!!

It was a fun drive up! We passed alot of Aggie fans, and instead of waving they would be doing the Scotsman in their cars haha it was fun.

I was glad Derek turned RIGHT! haha
After driving 5 hours we arrived at Bronco Stadium

After bundling up and getting Henrys cool sign we were on our way into the stadium

We saw the biggest potato in the world (according to Big H)

We got there early enough to see the Aggies arrive in the bus

It was neat they let the kids line up and give the players five
(the boys thought that was pretty COOL)

I will admit, it is hard to watch games on TV with the BLUE "Smurf Turf" but when we entered the stadium it was 120 yards of pure blue AWESOMENESS! And there was SO many Aggie fans!

Have YOU ever seen a dancing Potato? We HAVE!

The boys had a blast, dancing, singing and cheered their HUGE AGGIE hearts out! Which made the outcome of the game harder to accept.....the Aggies lost

But, we had been to a Bowl game and had a great time!

Henry is looking forward to next years bowl game! GO AGGIES, GO AGGIES, HEY, HEY, HEY

Welcome Home Elder!

I will admit the first year of Jeffs mission seemed quite slow, and like it was dragging at times! As soon as the second year started it really did seem to fly by! So on December 16th we made the trip to Salt Lake and the boys were pretty excited! Since his flight didn't come in until 11:15pm, we decided to take the boys to Temple Square and see the lights, they couldn't believe how many lights were there! After walking around for about 15 minutes they were FREEZING so we made our way into the Tabernacle and watched/listened to some of the Christmas devotional the Choir was performing (we watched it on TV screens) *Pics from Temple Square to be posted! ;)

After Temple Square and a quick bite to eat, we were OFF to the Airport! And Uncle Jeff was up in the air somewhere, on his way home.

Got front row parking :)

Please report to Terminal 1.......CHECK!

Who doesn't love a walk/ride on the escalator
(as escalator music goes through your head) lol

We were pretty excited to see our little brother, gma was excited to hug her baby boy

Grandma and her 3 cute, adorable grandsons
Our sign made with construction paper, markers and LOTS of tape, but best of all EXCITEMENT & LOVE!

One big happy, excited, thankful family

FAMILY PICTURES

So the weekend of Thanksgiving, Dereks family decided to update their family pictures and with good reasoning. There have been 3 official and legit additions since our last family pictures, and they are as follows: Little H had been born
Aubrey-Landens wife
Jared-Adri's long time boyfriend who proposed recently!

The HARDY Family

It was a very cold, nippy fall day but I think the pictures turned out GREAT! Dereks sister is an AMAZING, fun photographer and has a way to bring out the best smiles in the boys! I will be honest though I felt kind of bad for Little H his little teeth were chattering, and he had somewhat of a "frozen" smile in all the pics! haha

Me & my CUTE Boys
