Big H was excited to play his 2nd year of Flag Football this year. He was a little torn before the season started, he wasn't sure if he wanted to be Quarterback, Running Back, or Receiver on Offense....he just did not know which one he would be better at....then on Defense, he was thinking he would be more a Safety type. Yeah, remember this is only Flag Football, but I am talking about Big H. So Derek and I just told him to go to practices and his Coach would decide where he should play. Now, in all fairness, H would have been good in any position on Offense, he can throw the ball, catch the ball and he is pretty quick. But the Coach decided he wanted him to be the Quarterback! H was thrilled and excited because he enjoys Quarterback and it is also what his Uncle Jeff plays.
Big H ran the Offense from SHOTGUN he had a good Center who knew how to snap it! It was NICE
Big H did a great job this year, and there were a few games he accounted for not only 1 but 2 touchdowns, whether it be on his feet or through the air!
HE COULD GO ALL THE WAY..........and he DID!! (for his 2nd TD of the game)
Big H did a great job on Defense also, he was VERY quick and the Coach had him and his friend blitz from the corners, and many times if H's friend didn't pull the flag, H did! They did a great job anticipating and with teamwork.
There were many games he stopped touchdowns, and "silenced the other teams crowd" as he caught up and yanked the flag.
He even decided to have a GREEN OUT one day, because USU was having a WHITE OUT the same week! Oh I LOVE how this kid thinks!
Big H's Coach told us to make sure he signs up for tackle football next year! Yeah....it's on our To-Do list! Way to GO H :)
