Henrys First Jazz Game

For the past 80 days Henry would mark off a day on his Jazz calendar that we received for Christmas. He would also let us know just how many more days there were until he was going to his first Jazz game. Well, that day finally arrived on March 17th 2010 at 3:00 pm Henry and Derek got into the truck and headed down to Salt Lake to the Energy Solutions Arena. They got there early enough to watch some of the players shoot around. And they were also lucky enough to get 4 players autographs!!!! WOW huh? I was just hoping that he would get 1 and consider that lucky but I guess that luck was on his side on St. Patricks Day :) I do not know how to upload pictures from our camera so I will post a later blog with a few more pics and of the pennant that he got the autographs on. Until then you will just have to guess which players signed. LOL Well, Henry will admit that as the game started he was a little nervous for his team he was not sure if they were going to pull it off. Would his first JAZZ game be a loss??? He said he was not sure in the 1st period when the score was 14-6 T-WOLVES but then he said when the Jazz reached 20 points they just started "blowing off" and the wolves had no chance at all. During the game Henry and Dad fed their manly and pre manly appetites and Henry got a pretzel that was bigger than his head and a water bottle that "only cost $4 that is pretty cheap." Some day he will learn that NO that is not very cheap. lol Overall he said that it was way fun, and that he cheered and yelled the whole game. The final score was 122-100. GO JAZZ. He said that he wants to go to another game sometime. He said "Mom, do you think that Santa could bring me tickets again for Christmas?" I said well, you will just have to and see. Henry than asked "Mom do you think that if I am better in 2010, than I was in 2009 Santa will bring me tickets that are closer to the players?" lol Well I guess time will tell and Santa if you read this Henry would love to go to another Jazz game again. Until next time.....
