This morning, Henry was really excited for a a few reasons. #1-He didn't have to ride the bus to school, Dad was going to drive him #2-he was going to get to hang out with Dad, read a book and have donuts at school!! The activity was called "DUDES & DONUTS". They were able to spend about 30 minutes just eating donuts and having fun reading 'Henry & Paul & the round yellow ball'. The best part is Henry and Dad both LOVE donuts!!
On the way to his class Henry stopped in the hallway and showed Derek his ROCKET on the wall by the office!! He had to earn 20 AR points to have a rocket on the wall! His teacher told us not too long ago as of right now, he is the only Kindergartener in the school on the wall!! He earned the AR points by reading ALOT of books and then taking tests on them. He is such a smart boy! And he LOVES to read :) GREAT job H, WE LOVE YOU!!

We have Daddy doughnut day, and Mommy Muffin day every other month.
I need to get out to the school with my camera on Daddy doughnut day 'cause I've heard there's just a big row of trucks (with dogs in the back) in our small cowboy town!
Haha that's funny. I dare say it may not be a whole lot different here! :) Probably just less dogs :) It is a fun thing to do for the kids and parents. That is cool they do it every other month down there. They had Mommy Muffins back in like October...Hope all is well with you :)
