Today while Henry was at the Aggie practice with Grandpa, we had to go 'into town' and run some errands. We swung by Grandma & Grandpas (Manning) house and were locked out. So while we waited for Grandma to get home, Harrison got out of the car and saw that Owen was out shooting hoops in his driveway and so Harrison grabbed a ball from my parents and walked on over and just started shooting with him!
It was cute Owen lowered the basket to the lowest setting so Harrison would be "closer" to making it. Well after a few misses (hence the title post)... I guess the lowering of the hoop paid off!! Harrison made 9 baskets! It was funny when he would make them,Owen and I would clap and say, "give me 5!" and Harrison would cover his face and walk off like he was embarrassed. I know that he is only 2 1/2 but he has a good looking shot (don't believe just look at the pictures:)! When he or Owen would make their shot he would get excited and say ,"WOOOSH and NICE SHOT!" But, on the other hand, when Owen would miss the shot, Harrison at the age of 2 would say ,"oh, almost try again" which that is fine right?? Well there was some shots that weren't too close and Harrison also let him know about those by saying, "AIRBAAALLL!" lol okay, I guess it was funny, but coming from a 2 year old?? Hmmm, all I have to say is.... future Aggie fan!?!? Derek taught him that? lol
Well Owen had to go, so we went and shot hoops at grandmas.
Once Henry and Grandpa made it back from the practice Henry came and shot hoops with Harrison in the backyard. It is so fun to watch them play together! (most of the time) They shot for about 30 minutes then it was time to come home!! It was a fun day, and the weather was AWESOME :) I won't say that I am excited for spring, because last time I did, it snowed that night!! ;) So here are some fun pics of the 'Hardy Hoopsters' (that's the name Henry game them last year) having some fun together :) ENJOY!!!! Until next time.....
